Long Beach-Manta Sister cities held its annual cultural event on Saturday, August 6, 2005 at
Bob Hope Patriotic Hall in Los Angeles. Performers included "The International Ambassadors", a
Latin folk dance group from Houston, Texas, our own "Grupo Cultural Latino Americano" and a
special appearance by Native American artist Shawn Michael Perry.

The event was attended by a small but enthusiastic audience and the songs of Shawn Michael Perry
and the various Latin dances were well-received by all in attendance.
